The Portland Sea Dogs opened their gates for the first time in 1994 as the AA affiliate of the Florida Marlins.   In September of 2002 they announced their new affiliation with the Boston Red Sox.  A wall of the exact same height was constructed in left field to replicate the famed left field wall at Fenway Park.   In 2006 the Sea Dogs added Approximately 400 seats just beyond the right field wall, which allows fans the opportunity to catch a home run, this seating area is known as the U.S Cellular Pavilion.  The Sea Dogs won their first Eastern League Championship in 2006, members of that team included Brandon Moss and Jacoby Ellsbury.  The Sea Dogs pride themselves on offering family friendly pricing with individual game tickets ranging from $4.00 - $9.00. They do sell out regularly on the weekends and during the summer months so it is a good idea to order your tickets in advance.
